The trip across the lake is considered in many guidebooks as one of the most scenic ones in the world. The lake is an artificial one, which was created after 1974 from the Drini River and in which are built 3 hydropower plants that produce about 60-70 % of the country’s electric needs. After getting off the ferry we drive toward the village of Tropoje and before reaching the village we walk for about 1.5 hours. Accommodation will be in a small guesthouse with en suite bathrooms and shared rooms.
