Cycling from Maminas to Cape of Rodon:
As we mount our bikes in Maminas, we’ll embark on a scenic ride towards the breathtaking Cape of Rodon. This route offers a unique blend of natural beauty and rural Albanian landscapes.
Discovering the Historic Cape of Rodon:
Cape of Rodon, a rugged yet strikingly beautiful cape in Durres, is not just about its natural allure but also its rich history. Here, we’ll explore the Rodon Castle, an imposing fortress built by the revered Albanian national hero, Scanderbeg. This site provides not only a historical journey but also panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the cape’s captivating aura.
Concluding at Bubq Village:
Our final stop is the serene village of Bubq, marking the end of our cycling adventure. Here, we’ll reflect on the day’s experiences before boarding our vehicle for a relaxing drive back to Tirana, filled with memories of scenic landscapes, historical insights, and a sense of accomplishment.
