IMPORTANT: Please read these booking conditions carefully
All tours advertised online are operated by Sondor Travel Sh.P.K, registered in Albania under registration number K31608050Q (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Sondor Travel is a member of ATOU – Albanian Tour Operators Union.
Registered Office:
Rr. Mine Peza, Pll. 1, Shk. 13, Ap. 3
1010 Tirana, Albania
All tours are sold subject to the following booking conditions, which form a legally binding agreement between you and the Company.
1. Travel Insurance
Adequate and valid travel insurance is mandatory for all clients and must cover the full duration of the trip. Insurance should include, at a minimum, medical expenses, emergency evacuation and repatriation.
If required, Sondor Travel can assist clients in purchasing suitable travel insurance through international insurance providers operating in Albania.
2. Your Financial Protection
We provide financial protection for all package holidays purchased from us. In the unlikely event that Sondor Travel experiences financial difficulty during the booking period, clients will be entitled to a refund or repatriation, as applicable, in accordance with Albanian law.
3. How to Book
Bookings may be made directly with Sondor Travel by telephone, via our website www.sondortravel.com, through partner platforms, or via an approved travel agent.
The person making the booking (the “Lead Name”) must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to accept these booking conditions on behalf of all persons included in the booking.
All future correspondence, including amendments, changes and cancellations, will be conducted exclusively with the Lead Name. The Lead Name is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all personal and travel details supplied and for communicating all relevant booking information to other members of the party.
4. Deposits and Payment
A deposit of at least 10% of the total holiday cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to departure, unless otherwise stated.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking, with forfeiture of the deposit and any applicable charges.
For bookings made through an approved travel agent, all communication and changes must be handled through that agent.
5. Booking Confirmation
Upon acceptance of your booking, we will issue a Confirmation Invoice. A binding contract comes into existence on the date the Confirmation Invoice is issued, or immediately upon receipt of payment for bookings made within 7 days of departure.
Clients must review the Confirmation Invoice carefully. Passenger names must exactly match passport details. We accept no liability for denied boarding or service refusal due to incorrect personal details where we are not responsible.
Flight reservation details must be provided at least 72 hours prior to departure.
6. Medical Conditions and Accessibility
Clients must inform us at the time of booking of any medical condition, mobility limitation, disability or special requirement that may affect participation or enjoyment of the tour.
Failure to disclose relevant conditions may result in exclusion from the tour without entitlement to a refund. Clients are responsible for bringing any required medication or medical equipment.
7. Prices
All prices are accurate at the time of publication but may change. Prices include land arrangements only, unless explicitly stated otherwise, and exclude international flights.
Dates and itineraries for tours departing after 1 January 2016 are indicative and subject to change due to operational or logistical requirements.
8. Changes and Cancellations by the Client
8.1 Changes
Requests for changes must be submitted in writing by the Lead Name at least 56 days before departure and are subject to availability and supplier-imposed costs.
Any change requested within 56 days of departure will be treated as a cancellation.
8.2 Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by the Lead Name. Cancellation charges are calculated as a percentage of the total holiday cost, based on the date we receive written notice:
56–42 days before departure: 50%
41–28 days before departure: 60%
27–15 days before departure: 80%
14 days or less before departure or no-show: 100%
These charges apply per person. If one or more passengers cancel, the applicable charge will be calculated proportionally.
9. Changes or Cancellations by Sondor Travel
We reserve the right to make changes to your booking. Most changes are minor. If a major change becomes necessary, clients will have the option to accept the change, accept an alternative tour of similar standard and price if available, or cancel the booking and receive a full refund of all monies paid.
10. Our Liability
We and our suppliers will exercise reasonable skill and care in providing services. Standards of accommodation, transport, safety, hygiene and infrastructure may differ from those in your home country.
Adventure and active travel involve inherent risks. By booking, clients acknowledge these risks and accept that itineraries may change due to weather, safety considerations, political conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
11. Complaints
Any complaint must be reported immediately to the local representative or your designated Sondor Travel contact so that we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly during the tour.
12. Visas, Health and Travel Documentation
Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with passport, visa and health requirements. We provide guidance but accept no liability for denied entry or related costs.

14. Leader Authority
Tour leaders represent the Company and have full authority to ensure group safety and wellbeing. Disruptive, threatening or unsafe behavior may result in termination of participation without refund.
15. Accommodation
Accommodation may only be used by persons named on the Confirmation Invoice. Clients are responsible for any damage caused to accommodation or its contents during their stay.
16. Trip Notes
Detailed trip notes form part of the contract and supersede information contained on the website or in brochures.
17. Participation and Age Requirements
Clients must ensure they are physically and medically fit to complete their chosen itinerary.
Unaccompanied minors are not accepted except on designated family tours. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who accepts full responsibility for them.
