Itinerary

After meeting the local guide, you will be guided through The Old Bazaar, on of the most charming parts of Skopje. There, you will get to feel the real Balkan culture as you visit the local coffee shops, the Kapan Han Inn from the mid 15th century and the colorful souvenir shops. As you move from the Old Bazaar through the Stone Bridge onto Alexander the Great Square you will feel like you are moving through centuries of history and civilization. From the square you will admire the new face of Skopje which was built after the earthquake of 1963. Next we drive to Matka Canyon which is one of the most popular destination near Skopje. Once there, we will take a boat tour of Matka Canyon and visit Vrelo Cave which is one of the deepest underwater caves in Skopje.
