Lake Skadar is one of the largest bird reserves in Europe, having 270 bird species, among which are some of the last pelicans in Europe. Should have brought our birdbook! 🦆 – We rented a kayak to explore the lake and visit some of the uninhabited islands in the north of the lake. We were a bit late in the day but were lucky to spot one waterlily. 🌺 We spent the night at a nearby camping site, it was very peaceful and we got to play with a local kitten. Made us miss our cats from home so much! 🐱 – Once it got dark the temperature dropped hard and it got very humid. Our sleeping bags were airing out and almost got to wet to sleep in, luckily for us friendly Swiss people let them dry in there campervan. During the night you could here the jackals howling! Very cool but also a bit scary to hear! This was the most back to nature camping experience we’ve had so far on the trip! 🏕 – #coupleswhotraveltoghether #couplegoals #exloringtheworld #exlore #meettheworld #starttheadventure #discovertheworld #worldtrip #wowplacestogo #awesomelifestyle #adventure #adventuretime #blogger #travelwithus #travelblog #wearetravellers #exploringtheglobe #lakeskadar #lake #montenegro #nature #water #beautifulnature #kayaking #animals #waterlilies #paddling #trees #naturelovers #naturephoto
